How to choose this range

Compare the visible head
F brads have a 2 mm reference head; T finish nails have a 2.9 mm reference head. Test visibility and retention on the finished component.

Check the material stack
Choose length around the facing thickness and receiving timber, avoiding breakthrough. Thin edging also needs a split check on the actual species.

Use the correct magazine
Gauge, head shape and strip geometry must match the tool. F and T describe different fastener families, not interchangeable lengths.
