F nails have one shank and a 2.0 mm head in this reference. They do not provide the two-leg bridge of an upholstery or woodworking staple.

Why choose a brad for light trim?
It offers a small head suitable for many decorative attachments, but retention and splitting still need checking on the actual profile.
Are F nails the same as 17GA T nails?
No. The listed wire section and head width differ. The fastener drawing and tool must match the chosen family.
Application limits to check
- Do not use these brads as pallet, framing or roofing nails.
- Do not substitute them for headless pins when the finish specification requires an almost invisible pin hole.
