Select leg length for the drawer panel and receiving member specified in the component drawing.
A small brad head helps place fastening points on thin decorative cabinet trim.
Test brad placement around narrow profiles and mitres using the intended timber.
Allow a suitable seating or filling location for the larger T-head profile.
Match T-head nails to the furniture component process and its accompanying joint details.

Task and selection logic
The 6 mm reference crown differs from the 92-series crown. Select the length for the panel and receiving member.
This 18-gauge family shares a gauge with 90 series but needs its own tool and crown check.
A smaller brad head may help with the visible finish. Check splitting, required retention and head seating on the sample.
Compare the 2.9 mm reference head and 17-gauge wire against your tool and final surface requirement.
Evaluate heavy-wire staples on the complete furniture component joint before production use.
01
Identify solid wood, plywood, MDF or other board and give the thickness of each layer. Panel attachment, a cabinet joint and trim installation are different tasks.
02
A staple bridges two legs across a crown; a brad or finish nail has a single shank. Compare the contact area, visible mark and required holding for your assembly.
03
Use the intended material, adhesive where specified and the actual tool. Review edge splitting, head seating, breakthrough and assembly acceptance before changing a fastener.
General woodworking dimensions do not establish approval for a structural connection. Use the project specification where a designed load applies.
